As Senior Pastor for the past 30 years,
I strive to create a church dedicated to connecting hearts to Christ. With a vision to reach the world for Jesus one person at a time, our staff fosters a welcoming environment where diverse individuals find purpose through faith. My messages are practical, encouraging, and rooted in scripture. I strive to teach members how to address challenges through God’s love. I am passionate about equipping believers to become fruitful leaders who disciple others in the community and beyond. At Heart of the Valley, our leadership team creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere filled with contemporary music and meaningful connections.

Johnny & Jill Renteria -
Executive and Youth Pastors
We are Pastors Johnny and Jill Renteria, and we have been married for 19 years. God has blessed us with three beautiful daughters who are a huge part of our ministry life. For the past 10 years, we have been in leadership at Heart of the Valley Church, however our journey of walking with and serving Jesus has spanned 20+ years. We believe deeply in doing ministry together as a family and feel a strong calling to raise up the next generation. Our passion is to equip people to discover their God-given purpose in Christ and to see families restored and thriving in Him. Matthew 22:37-39 “Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Women’s/Children’s/Worship Pastor
My name is Pastor Beth Salber. I am passionately dedicated to empowering women through God‘s Word. My goal is to inspire them to live out God’s best for their lives. My devotion to teaching children to follow Jesus Christ before the world teaches them not to is unwavering. I am additionally honored to lead Worship with
a deliberate focus on repairing hearts to receive the messages
God has for them.

Pastor Richard Freeman
I’ve served in Christian Ministry for over
30 years, beginning my journey in Dinuba, California, in 1992. As an Ordained Minister with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, I guide congregations at Heart of the Valley Christian Fellowship toward deeper faith. As Lead Pastor of Recover Church, a satellite church of Heart of the Valley, I support individuals in addiction recovery with hope and biblical teachings. I am passionate about counseling married couples to build Christ-centered relationships and leading men in authentic discipleship. Through my dedicated service, I love the opportunity to see lives transformed across the Central Valley with the Gospel's power.
Henry Serrato - Worship Director
I’ve been leading worship and serving in ministry for over 20 years, and I love creating spaces where people can encounter God’s presence in a real and life-changing way.
My wife Ruth and I are passionate about mentoring the next generation and building relationships that point young people to Jesus. I also serve on staff with Youth for Christ, spending time on local school campuses encouraging students and
supporting mentors.
