What we believe…

We believe that the Bible is God’s infallible Word, written by individuals who were divinely and uniquely inspired, and that it is our authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe in one God, who is self-existent, eternal, and infinite.

We believe that while being the same in essence, God has revealed Himself as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, perfect in holiness and infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, born of a virgin, sinless in life, who atoned for the sins of the world by His death on the cross. We believe in the bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His High Priestly intercession for people, and His return to the world according to His promise.

We believe in the Holy Spirit of God, who came to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort, and seal forever those who believe in Jesus Christ.

We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, but that “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

We believe there is no other way to eternal salvation than through Jesus Christ. We believe in salvation by grace through faith alone. Good deeds are an evidence of salvation, not a requirement for salvation. Man can do nothing in his fallen state to achieve salvation.

We believe that the local church is composed of regenerated, baptized believers, voluntarily united together for the purpose of identifying and developing people to extend and express the Life-Cure of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the following Biblical principles: The competency of the individual in direct approach to God, the priesthood of all believers, the symbolic act of believer’s baptism and the Lord’s Supper, the autonomy of the local church, and a world-wide program of missionary endeavor in obedience to the final command of our Lord.
